Library LSP Update 1: We’re Spring Cleaning!

Big changes are coming to the Courtright Memorial Library this spring! We will be introducing a new library management system, Alma, and a new discovery layer, Primo, which will replace our current systems, Sierra and the EbscoHost discovery layer, known commonly as 鈥淥neSearch鈥. These updates couldn't come a moment too soon - our beloved Sierra is more than 30 years old! Alma and Primo will refresh how library users interact with our collection so please bear with us as we鈥

Meet Irish Wolfhounds at Our Doggy Destresser

Warm Up at Our Finals Caf茅

Finals will be here before you know it, so come relax at our Finals Caf茅! It will be on Wednesday, December 4th from 6pm to 8pm, at the Courtright Memorial Library, on the 1st floor. Warm up with some free coffee, tea, or hot cocoa from our beverage bar, grab a fidget toy or coloring page, and learn how to use M&Ms and Skittles as a study tool. Drop-In Tutoring from the Academic Support Center will also be available. The鈥

Constitution Day at the Library

September 17th聽is Constitution Day and as a depository library Courtright Memorial is celebrating with display! You can stop by the first floor and pick up a grab bag that includes a pocket constitution or vote on a few select failed amendments that never made it into the Constitution. Welcome to the Library, Cardinals!

On August 22nd聽we welcomed more than 100 new Cardinals into the library at the Library鈥檚 First Flight Open House! It was wonderful to see students enjoying the parachute launch, the Bingo scavenger hunt around the building, and we crowned some new Courtright Royalty! We are looking forward to seeing many familiar faces returning in the next week as well! This year, the library has 2 new study spaces (equipped with sensory-friendly study tools) along with more whiteboards available for your鈥
