Renowned for his monumental sculptures, massive public installations, and dramatic theatre designs, Jun Kaneko鈥檚 art is immediate and often mind-boggling. Dot in Space invites audiences into a more intimate conversation with the artist鈥檚 work, as it pays homage to stillness and space鈥攖wo essential aspects of Kaneko鈥檚 art and process from which his gesture and mark-making emerge. The exhibition features dango, wall slabs, ovals, constructions, and drawings from Kaneko鈥檚 historical collection reserves, as well as new work.
